Ranch Wedding Sneak Peek

I originally wanted to wait for the professional photos by Jared and Eder (of Bauman Photographers) before posting about this AMAZING wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch in San Luis Obispo.  But I can’t resist sharing a little sneak peek. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED everything about this wedding and was thrilled to have the opportunity to tag along with Jessica, John and Marjeri of Events by Design to see it all come together.  Tess and Andrew are the sweetest, nicest, most down-to-earth couple…and their wedding was a reflection of that. I was honored to have been a part of it.
Now keep in mind these photos were solely taken with my iphone Hipstamatic app…so they simply cannot do this beautiful wedding justice. And I was doing a lot of running around, helping EBD set up, so I didn’t really have a chance to photograph everything. I saw some of the photos Jared and Eder had taken that day…and they are stunning, gorgeous, magical! So I’ll save the full post with all the delightful details when I can showcase Bauman Photographer’s beautiful work and really give you a glimpse into wedding perfection – beautiful, elegant, timeless, sweet and truly a GENUINE expression of love, family and unity.
The full vendor list is at the end of this post (after the photos). Programs, stationery, chalkboard table numbers and menus, printed signs, painted parasols, printed bags, and the hand-drawn tree illustration used for the monogram were all by EITAK Design.

The reception was set up inside the 200 year old barn.
The 14,000 acre property is a real working ranch with cattle and vineyards.
Cool old truck behind the barn.
Accordion-style programs.
Guests were treated to a train ride around the Ranch, following the ceremony.
Pennant banner on the train caboose.
Guestbook table.

Instead of a guestbook, family and friends typed up a “recipe for a happy marriage” using this vintage typewriter.

This youngster totally figured out how to use the old typewriter.
Cocktail hour!
View from inside the barn doors before the guests entered.
Bluegrass band performing during cocktail hour.
Guest photo display inside the barn.
Wine barrel and old wood plank bar.
Reception inside the Barn.
Hand-lettered menu board.
Charming “mismatched” vintage china and silverware.
The cake toppers were hand-made renditions of the couple’s dogs, created by the Groom’s mother.
Photo booth!
The tree monogram dance floor GOBO.
Monogram projected onto the barn at night.

Wow, that looks SO cool! I was just talking to a friend about her wedding plans today. I love the emphasis on fun and reflecting individual personalities rather than what's "expected". Love SLO too!!
